Seniors Enjoy Painting With a Twist in Farmington

The Giving Tree
78 first grade students from Botsford Elementary visited Botsford Commons, all looking forward to singing holiday favorites and entertaining the residents. Little did the children know, but the residents and staff had been working hard for months, collaborating with their teachers, to make sure every first grade student received brand new books that would interest them and be at their current reading level.
Random Acts of Kindness Get “Painted” Forward
Two Farmington businesses connect through kindness and creativity. The talented staff at Painting with A Twist in Downtown Farmington offer step-by-step instruction, providing an opportunity to turn even a novice painter into an artist.  Michelle Lewis, owner of the Farmington and Ferndale Painting with A Twist locations, stopped by Botsford Commons Senior Community to distribute gifts – beautiful artwork.  Fifty-four canvas pieces, ranging from detailed portraits to seasonal horizon settings were gifted.
