chosen as Master Examiner

Botsford Commons is proud to announce the newest Master Examiner for the American Health Care Association, our own Kimberly Gimmarro.  Gimmarro, long-time Executive Assistant to President Margaret Lightner, will serve during the 2016 cycle.

Holiday giving at Botsford Commons

Botsford Commons and Botsford Elementary have a special relationship - it's multigenerational.  As a Title 1 school, Botsford Elementary falls into an area with low income families, many without books and many without a daily influence to read.  Years ago, residents at Botsford Commons developed the Botsford Buddies program where once a month residents are taken to the school and the second graders read out loud to the residents.  It was though this program, residents saw an opportunity to give more to the students and the Giving Tree program was born. Botsford Commons awarded the

2015 Beautification Award

The breathtaking grounds at Botsford Commons were awarded with the 2015 Beautification Award from the City of Farmington Hills.  Maureen O’Connell, property management coordinator, was pleased to accept the award from Dan Irvin, Executive Director of the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday evening.  The celebration for area businesses, commercial properties and residential properties was at the Costick Center in Farmington Hills. Botsford Commons has been working hard on their grounds this year, adding new driveways to the condominiums, replacing the main entrance bridge off of Nine Mile road, and adding beautiful knockout roses to their lush gardens. . Special thanks and photos!.

The talented staff atBotsford Commons Senior Community was recently presented with a very special award, the Linda S. Mlynarek Excellence in Long-Term Care Public Relations Award. The award, given by the Health Care Association of Michigan (HCAM), recognized Botsford Commons’ promotion of its partnership program with local Farmington business, Painting with a Twist.
